Standard angled three roll mills rely partially on gravity and material flowability. However, when processing extremely dense, sticky, or ultra-high viscosity pastes, the material may struggle to feed properly into the standard nip.
The SYP Series flat hydraulic three roll mill solves this by arranging the rollers in a flat, horizontal plane. This architecture is specifically designed to integrate seamlessly with overhead extruders or force-feeding press machines. Combined with a powerful 6.3 MPa hydraulic system, flat hydraulic three roll mill provides relentless, even grinding for the most stubborn materials.

The 180-degree flat layout provides a wider, more accessible feeding zone, preventing material bridging and making it ideal for highly cohesive pastes.

Utilizes a dedicated hydraulic pump to maintain a steady 6.3 MPa system pressure, ensuring uniform shear force even when processing unevenly mixed batches in a hydraulic three roll mill.

Synthetic RubbersThe flat (horizontal) arrangement prevents "bridging" or clogging of highly viscous, non-flowing materials. This design is a key feature of a hydraulic three roll mill, as it allows for seamless integration with overhead ram presses or extruders that force the material directly into the feeding gap.
The machine features a dedicated hydraulic power unit that ensures a constant 6.3 MPa pressure. If the material viscosity fluctuates, the hydraulics automatically compensate to maintain uniform shear force. This pressure control system is what distinguishes a hydraulic three roll mill from conventional manual or pneumatic models.
Our flat hydraulic three roll mill uses proportional hydraulic valves for precise roll gap adjustment. Its flat roller design boosts grinding stability, and output capacity reaches 3–4 times that of traditional manual models.
Standard rollers of flat hydraulic three roll mill are high-hardness alloy steel. We also customize silicon carbide, zirconia or stainless steel rollers to avoid metal contamination for sensitive fine chemical materials.
The flat hydraulic three roll mill equips independent circulating water cooling for each roller. It controls working temperature steadily to prevent material overheating, discoloration and viscosity changes during continuous grinding.
