Laboratory Bead Mill

Laboratory Bead Mill

Laboratory bead mill is compact lab wet grinding equipment designed for R&D fine milling and material dispersion. It relies on grinding beads to generate shear force, breaking solid particles into micron or nano sizes with stable, repeatable test results. Small grinding chambers support tiny sample batches, easy disassembly and thorough cleaning to avoid cross-contamination. Widely used in coatings, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and new material labs. As a portable test device, lab bead mill helps researchers verify formulas before large-scale industrial production, featuring low noise and simple parameter adjustment for diverse slurry materials.

Product Description

The ZLWS laboratory bead mill is engineered for medium-low viscosity materials including liquid inks (inkjet/gravure/flexo inks), automotive refinish paints, electronic pastes, pesticides, and nanomaterials. This lab bead mill adopts modular centrifugal screen assembly that significantly expands separation area for smooth discharge and high-volume production with easy maintenance. Grinding media down to 0.3-0.5mm enables nanoscale fineness. Disc/profiled disc/toothed dispersing structures (up to 15m/s linear speed) adapt to material properties, enhancing grinding efficiency and output quality. Double mechanical seals with cooling unit and level monitoring ensure operational safety, while SiC/ZrO2/PU-customizable chambers and discs eliminate metal contamination.

Perfect Your Formula at the Micro Scale

Developing nano-coatings, advanced battery slurries, or expensive pharmaceutical inks requires countless formulation adjustments. Running these trial batches on a massive 30-Liter production machine wastes thousands of dollars in raw materials.
The ZLWS1 lab bead mill solves this by shrinking industrial-grade horizontal milling into a compact 1-Liter footprint. Despite its small size, it boasts a robust 4kW motor operating at 1500 rpm, exactly replicating the extreme shear forces of our large-scale ZLWS and ZLLS machines. It allows researchers to achieve sub-micron dispersion using only a few liters of sample material.

Key Features
26-结构.png

Minimal Dead Volume

The optimized 1-Liter chamber ensures that precious experimental materials are processed efficiently without getting lost inside massive industrial piping or oversized filter screens.

3-数字化研发可扩展性.png

Mathematical Scale-Up Precision

The internal geometry, rotor tip speed, and energy density are perfectly scaled down from our industrial machines. A successful recipe on the ZLWS1 lab bead mill translates directly to mass production.
